Occombe Farm visit

Class R and Class 1 went on a whole day visit to Occombe Farm in Paignton on Wednesday 1st May.

To continue Class 1’s learning about ‘FOOD’, the children took part in gardening to gather herbs for cooking and baking pizzas in the kitchens. We also created animals from the clay at the farm.

As part of Class R’s topic ‘NEW LIFE’, the children had the opportunity to visit all of the animals on the farm and learn how to care for them, including the new animals.

We told the keepers about our school’s chicks and how we have looked after them.

As you can see from the pictures we had a very busy but very exciting learning experience!
