Class One visit Tescos

Walters are teaching a topic called 'Food' in class one, and what better place
to go than Tesco! Tesco even paid for some of the trip themselves. We went
into the bakery and looked at all of the huge machines they have and made some
bread roles for our lunch. Then we went to the fish counter and looked at how
they prepared fish! Some of us enjoyed that more than others! We did some
cheese tasting. Some of use went into the giant freezers. We then played a
game hunting for different colour fruit and veg - where the children were let
loose in the aisles. After all that it was time for our bread role and Tesco
provided us with cheese, meat, fish plus loads of healthy fruit and vegetables
for us to try.
It was a lovely trip and made lovely by the great behaviour and
enthusiasm of our children once again!
