Safeguarding

Safeguarding is the responsibility of EVERY member of staff. All staff at St Margaret Clitherow are committed to safeguarding children and promoting children’s welfare. The school expects all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment and maintain a vigilant and safe environment. It is our willingness to work in a safe manner and challenge inappropriate behaviour that underpins this commitment.

Please take a copy of our Visitor’s Safeguarding Leaflet when you sign in.

To protect our children, we respectfully ask that all visitors refrain from using their mobile phones during their visit. A member of staff will show you to a Mobile Phone Zone where you can take calls if you are expecting one.

If, at any time during your visit, you should have any concerns regarding children or staff, please report to a class teacher who will pass the information to one of the safeguarding leads.
